The semi-finals of the Tradewind Tankers ‘True Champions’ Volleyball Tournament which was scheduled to be played today, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall had to be postponed due to the unavailability of the venue.
This is according to the Organisers who told Kaieteur Sport that because the teams preparing for the upcoming Inter-Guianas Games in November will be using the venue, they were told that it will not be available for use.
A new date for the staging of the semi-finals will be announced later.
Meanwhile, the semi-final fixtures will see Young Achievers battle Rollers and Port Mourant takes on Castrol Strikers with the winners of both matches advancing to the final, while the two losers clash in the third place playoff.
