Vested interests and personal constructs shape people’s way of thinking

I once heard the saying “where you sit is where you will stand”. This means that every individual’s behaviour is influenced by principles by which that individual lives.
After reading the latest Freddie feature, (Kaieteur News, September 03, 2010, “At all times, we must reply to Mr. Jagdeo”) I couldn’t help but be amazed. Mr. Kissoon should understand that personal constructs and vested interests have always and will always shape the way people think and act, and therefore a reflection of their own personal constructs will naturally be seen in their writings.
I do believe that Prem Misir has a vested interest, in the PPP/C. However, there are many anti-government media personalities, whose perspectives are unmistakably showcased in their own writings.  Take Raphael Trotman for example: his vested interests in the AFC will undoubtedly, be reflected in his writings.
I most humbly submit, and hope and sincerely believe that Mr. Kissoon possesses the intellect and reasoning to understand, whether or not he is aware of it, that through his writings, and behaviour, his vested interests and personal constructs are also flaunted. Mr. Kissoon’s inability to understand and accept that personal constructs and vested interests drive human behaviour would mean simply, that he lacks a human personality.
Mr. Kissoon stated that Prem Misir’s writings are only a misanalysis and should be dismissed, because they are pro-government. Following the argument of vested interests, what should Mr. Kissoon’s writings be dismissed as? We are all products of our environment, and this contaminates our way of thinking.
When Obama’s advisors write to the press, on whose behalf are they writing? Is it Sarah Palin’s, or the Republican Party’s? I think not. It is infantile journalism to hastily discredit another person’s work simply because their vested interests differ to yours. Is there no regard for content anymore?
