Former Guyana Under-19 skipper Eugene LaFleur will lead the 14-man Universal DVD Berbice Titans in their Twenty20 match against the New Line Cavaliers tomorrow at the Guyana National Stadium Providence.
This will be the first game of two days of exciting Twenty20 matches organised by the Guyana Cricket Board with feature play between Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. The Berbice team is made up of players that won the DJ Stress and Digicel Summer Fest Twenty20 tournaments. Even though, several outstanding Berbice players will be representing the national team against Trinidad the squad is still a strong one.
Special arrangements have made put in place for players not representing Guyana to represent Berbice on the day.
The Universal DVD Berbice Titans squad: Eugene LaFleur (Captain), Anthony D’Anrade, Keith Fraser, Rayed Ally, Ranga Latchana, Devon Clements, Michael Newland, Delbert Hicks, Anthony Bramble, Rajiv Ivan, Krisendat Ramoo, Keyron Fraser, Keon Joseph and Steven Latcha. Anil Beharry (Manager), David Black (Assistant Manager), Adrian Amsterdam (Coach).
Beharry, who is also the Treasurer of the BCB has extended gratitude to Mr.Vickram Seubaran for his continued support to Berbice cricket and his sponsorship of the team’s traveling and meals.
Players are asked to report to the head of the road leading to the Berbice Bridge on the eastern side at 12:00hrs sharp tomorrow (Saturday August 28) for transportation to the Stadium.
