CDC rewards Enterprise’s top Grade Six performers
The Enterprise Citizens Development Council has extended an invitation to the administration of the Enterprise Primary School, to request whatever assistance is needed to maintain the high standard of t institution.
The invitation came in the wake of the exceptional performance of students of the East Coast Demerara school, at this year’s Grade Six Assessment Examination.
The Enterprise CDC recently rewarded the school’s top three performers at the examination.
According to the CDC Chairman, Tullaram Jairam, popularly known as Chandar, the Enterprise Primary School has produced a doctor, a pilot and a minister in the current government.
However there was a decline in the students’ performance.
But most recently, the school’s performance has improved and Jairam is confident that the institution will once again place the community prominently on the map of Guyana.
Previously the enterprise CDC contributed garbage drums to the school, repaired broken furniture and frequently cleaned the school’s compound.
The CDC has also contributed to the Enterprise Nursery School in various areas.
Jairam said that his organization is committed towards assisting the community in the field of education.
