The 2010 edition of the Inter-Market indoor futsal football competition is scheduled to get underway on August 7 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) and West Indian Sports Complex has displayed sound corporate commitment when the management of that organization donated three footballs to be used during the one-week competition.
The presentation took place at the West Indian Sports Complex head offices, Robb Street Georgetown when Managing Director Feroze Khan handed over the gift to tournament coordinator, O’Neil Durant.
An employee of the sports establishment, Phillip Squires, disclosed that the management of West Indian Sports Complex was cognizant of the importance of sports in nation building.
Mr. Squires further committed to future events of this nature.
In response, Mr. Durant expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Khan while assuring the Managing Director of the viability of the gift.
