When some of the notorious gunmen were killed people jumped up and proclaimed that murder would decline. I warned them against such optimism. I told them that people are going to turn on themselves because such is the nature of the beast.
Many are alive to testify to this. People are killing each other at an alarming rate and this is not about to stop. The reason is that people are becoming more frustrated largely because they failed to develop the intellect to reason.
In the coming week there will be two more and I shudder to think about the future.

A shootout is going to occur in the southern section of the city because a police patrol would accidentally stumble on something. There is going to be collateral damage because bullets would destroy private property.
There will be some arrests but the prime candidate would elude capture largely because in the community there are people who simply like to challenge the police.

The creeks are going to claim another life as a holidaying child is going to fall into the silent waters. He would be with some friends who would go picnicking and would be after the fruits that abound. This is where the problem lies because people simply do not allow their children to explore nature.
There are going to be charges of carelessness and a family is going to be ripped apart.
