Sanjay’s Jewellery Golf tourney set for Saturday

The Sanjay’s Jewellery sponsored Medal Play golf tournament will be played off on Saturday at Lusignan Golf Club.
The tournament was originally planned for July 3 but recent inclement weather forced its postponement.
Club Captain Patrick Prashad said once the weather continues to be favourable players can expect an exciting day of golf.
Rain has affected play for the past three weeks but last weekend’s tournament went ahead as planned despite the unfavourable weather.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players with the best net scores as well as Nearest to the Pin at number 8.
There will be a shot gun start at 12:30 hours but golfers are requested to assemble at 12:15 hours.
Registration will close on Friday at 16:30 hours.

Bishnarine Persaud, managing director of Sanjay’s Jewellery has been invited to assist in the presentation of prizes at the end of the tournament.
