People sweat yesterday. Dem sweat because dem mek preparations fuh de Kuwaiti Prime Minister and he sixty-member delegation and at one stage it look like if de man wasn’t coming.
De man send and tell dem that he was coming at one o’clock. One o’clock come and gone then de message come that de man coming at two o’clock. De whole Cabinet and Parliament race to de airport. De man didn’t come.
Then dem get a message that de man coming at 4:15p.m. By then everybody skinning dem eye. Roger Luncheon this time was watching de food because dem cook plenty. Roger start warming up de food since noon. Five o’clock come and gone and de oil to warm up de food run out.
Dem send to de gas station and get some more. De people come in at six o’clock and dem barely eat because dem eat pun dem own plane.
Last night de whole Cabinet was trying to eat. Dem even go pun de road and bring in some pavement dwellers to eat de food which did start to get sour by then.
But is de signing that got dem boys worried. Dem certain that Ashni mek de man sign fuh de Amaila Falls debt. It been in de fine print.
