All Stars by virtue of beating Fearless Flyers 34-29 ended runners-up in the Trophy Stall –sponsored 23 and under Netball Tournament which officially concluded yesterday with the last round of matches, at the National Gymnasium.
In the remaining two matches, All Stars defeated Fearless Flyers 34-29 with Timeka McEwan netting 21 goals from 33 attempts and national junior Captain Shonette Estwick supporting with 12 from 23 attempts.
For Fearless Flyers, P. Gardner poured in 14 goals from 28 attempts, while A. Quentin added 10 from 24.
In the other game, Doves trounced Rim Rockerz 40-12.
For the winners, junior national Shameeza Subrattie dumped in 35 goals from a whopping 67 attempts, while K. Sampson netted 5 from 23.
National standout Kristy Roberts scored all 12 goals from 25 attempts for Rim Rockerz.
Meanwhile, Proprietor of Trophy Stall Ramesh Sunich, whose entity was the sponsor of the tournament said that he, will continue to add his support to the tournament which is held annually.
Young Emma Sunich, daughter of the sponsor presented the winning trophy to Shaundel Samaroo.
