Reckless driving causes another accident
A white Canter truck, GLL 6797, that was parked opposite a mechanic shop in Herstelling, East Bank Demerara, ended up inside the trench after a blue Toyota Carina, PFF 59, while heading up the East Bank, yesterday slammed into the truck. The accident occurred shortly after 07:00 hours.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was parked opposite “Raj Mechanic shop” for two days pending repairs.
“The car had to be going fast,” one observer said.
The car sustained a ruptured fuel tank and gasoline was leaking into the trench.
