Nuff people happy that dem children do good at de Grade Six Assessment but if dem know that de Permanent Secretary in de Ministry and he secretary don’t know as much as dem li’l children who pass, dem same parents would tek dem children out of school.
De PS can’t spell and he secretary who suppose to correct de wuk before she send it out wuss.
Dem boys shame when dem see de letter but then again dem seh that if a man is a Permanent Secretary then he can write he own dictionary.
But if dem boys think things bad wid de PS dem got to go to de Finance Ministry. A certain big one get in trouble and somebody give he a dismissal letter. De man get vex and is then dem boys know trouble when dem see it.
De man walk in pun de one who serve de letter and de next thing dem see is de man coming back without de letter and he smiling.
Is when he sit down that people know wha happen. Dem hear de man talking that any marching orders he carrying people wid him. De man who write de letter get de message and he call somebody upstairs.
Right away dem get instructions to withdraw de letter. And dem do it pronto.
Talk half. Lef half.
