Dear Editor,
I have been following reports on the likelihood of Major General Joe Singh being asked to head a coalition to contest the next General Election(s) in Guyana.
This has been my wish for years now. I surely wish that Joe Singh would accept.
We need democracy and respect to revisit our shores.
Joe Singh has the respect of Guyanese at home and abroad and also the international community. He also knows this country like the back on his hand(s). He has proven that he is never interested in a racial divide.
Please, Joe, for the sake of our youth, for the sake of country, take the mantle and run with it. Can you do it? Yes we can!
Mothers, let us help to take this country back for our children’s sake.
