SOL officially launched its Shell 2010 retail promotion-Power Up 2 win, unveiling a brand new Suzuki Grand Vitara, yesterday.
According to Ken Figaro, General Manager of SOL Guyana Inc, motorists who purchase Shell V-Power gasoline to the value of $2500 at any of the eligible Shell service stations will get an entry form for a chance to win a Suzuki Grand Vitara plus Shell Helix lubricants.
He disclosed, each entry form must be correctly filled, including completing the statement at the top of it, while completed forms must be placed into the special boxes provided.
The Regent Street, Mc Doom and Ogle service stations will not be a part of the promotion.
When this newspaper enquired why these stations were not included in the promotion, the General Manager disclosed, “there is a litigation matter before the court and I wouldn’t like to comment on it.”
The operators of the three service stations have taken legal action against the parent company and the case is scheduled to be heard soon.
The General Manager revealed that every three weeks a draw would be held to select eleven (11) Shell Helix winners, (one from each of the participating stations) who will each receive one gallon of Shell Helix 20W-50 lubricant.
Each winning entry will be returned to the box to ensure its eligibility for the grand draw.
The Shell Grand Vitara 2010 promotion will end on September 30, 2010, and the grand draw will be held on October 7.
