The management of STARR Computers of 59 Brickdam Stabroek has found a way to give back to its customers in recognition of the immense support received over the years and has launched a football promotion that commenced June 11 last and culminates on July 11 next.
The promotion will allow all shoppers at the computer establishment to win footballs everyday they make a purchase. The balls are decorated with the national flags of all the participating countries of the 2010 World Cup and could be a treasured possession for years to come.
Saturday morning, at the organization’s Brickdam headquarters, several lucky customers received their prizes and were especially delighted.
General Manager (STARR Computer Inc), Mr. Rehman Majeed delivered brief remarks shortly after the respective winners had collected their prizes.
Among other things, he expressed the hope that the promotion heightens awareness of the sport locally. He further wished the recipients every good wish even as he urged potential customers to be a part of the promotions. “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should not be passed up,” he reiterated.
Those collecting their prizes were: Amanda Singh, Jasorda Kishna, Ray Beharry, Steve Mongal, Fedel Khan, Vada Ram (Child Evangelism Fellowship), Ricaldo Purnwasy and Nazim Hussain.
