Achievers ‘C’ into semi-finals
Achievers ‘C’ unit which advanced to the semi-finals poses for a Kaieteur Sport photo op yesterday at Aracari Resort.
Achievers ‘C’ became the latest team to make it to the semi-final round of the Aracari Resort-sponsored Volleyball Tournament that is being played, at the entity’s location on the West Demerara.
Achievers ‘C’ led by national player Randy Adams defeated the GDF 21-10, 21-13, then swept past Castrol ‘A’ 21-12, 21-13, before wrapping up a flawless day by beating their ‘A’ counterparts also in straight sets 21-10, 21-17.
In other results: Castrol ‘A’ beat GDF 21-10, 21-9, Achievers ‘A’ defeated Castrol ‘A’ 21-12, 21-11 and Achievers ‘A’ clobbered GDF 21-11, 21-5.
The competition continues next Saturday at the same venue.
