Dear Editor,
The teachers of the Hope Christian Academy, which is run by the Hope Children’s Home, wish to clarify the situation as regards to articles previously published by Kaieteur News.
1. No teacher physically assaulted any child in the School at any point in time.
2. It is unfortunate that individuals will seek to paint a negative picture of the School and Home.
3. It would be better if these individuals can do something positive for the children of the Home.
We the teachers have worked diligently with theses children and it hurts to see how these issues have affected the children both psychologically and emotionally.
They have refused to appear in public as they are ashamed of the entire issue.
