A three-way accident Tuesday afternoon on the Zorg Public Road, left two persons nursing minor injuries at the Suddie Hospital.
Kaieteur News understands that around 14:15 hrs motorcyclist Andy Ramnarine was travelling on the public road when he swerved from a snake and collided with a motorcar.
A minibus, which was traveling behind Ramnarine, tried its best to avert hitting the cyclist but collided with a parked truck. The driver of the minibus, who was identified as Bailey Prashad, was momentarily pinned in the vehicle.
Public-spirited persons helped remove him from the vehicle; remarkably he walked away out with minor injuries. No other passenger in the bus was injured.
Both Ramnarine and Prashad were treated at the Suddie Hospital.
