Rhythm Star emerged victorious in the Diamond/Grove Youths in Development’s 7-a-side 7-over softball cricket competition last Sunday at the Diamond Community Centre ground to take the GT&T first place trophy and $50,000. Rhythm Star of West Demerara beat Grove Back Street in the final as the team from Grove had to settle for the $15,000 2nd prize. All Stars finished in the 3rd position.
