12-team Domino tournament fixed for Onasis Club this weekend

A 12-team domino tournament in honour of Davo, who celebrates his 80th birth anniversary, will be staged at the Onasis Club of Bagotstown EBD on Sunday June 6 starting at 13:00hrs.

The tournament would be played in a two in, one out format and the winning team carts off $60,000 and a trophy. The team finishing second takes home $40,000 and a trophy while the third place receives $20,000 and a trophy.

There would also be a competition within that competition where an over-40 team competes against an over-50 with the winners playing an over-60 team to determine the overall winners. There would also be a prize for the Man of the Finals.

Entrance fee is ten thousand dollars per team which includes luncheon. Interested teams may contact any member of the Onasis Club on telephone number 233-5812. Music would be provided by Robbies International.
