McGowan, All Saints and Edinburgh were among the latest winners in this year’s Gilgeous Pawn Shop / AL Sport & Tour Promotions-sponsored Primary School Windball Cricket Championships which continued recently at various venues in Region 6.

Central Corentyne Zone final:
Kildonan went down to McGowan by 9 wickets.
Kildonan 47-4, Marleen Casey 15, Alia Anderson 10.
Mc Gowan 48-1, Shemila Munroe 12, Oneka Profitt11.
At Rose Hall Welfare Centre Ground-
Semi-final New Amsterdam zone:
All Saints defeated St. Therese’s by 20 runs.
All Saints 71-2, Tandika Reid 32.
Saint Therese’s in reply reached 51-0, Rachel Nauth 22, Radika Hogadoue 19.
Edinburgh eliminated 2009 champions St. Aloysius after registering a 16-run triumph.
Edinburgh 50-1, Shavani Goberdhan 27, Cynthia Robertson 10
St. Aloysius replied with 34-2, Devana Grant 14.
Canje zone semi final-
Rose Hall Estate (St. Patrick’s) beat Sheet Anchor by 10 wickets.
Sheet Anchor made 23-2.
Rose Hall Estate (St Patrick’s) coasted to 28-0 off 3.5 overs.
Maria Blair 11 & Teressa Moses 10 were the major contributors.
Meanwhile, play in the AL Sport & Tour Promotions/ R. Prashad Industries and Gilgeous Pawn Shop-sponsored Boys competition continued at the Bush Lot Farm ground.
In the final-
Kildonan defeated McGowan by 7 wickets.

Kildonan 46-3, Alex Williams 26. Andre Mickle 2-20.
Rose Hall Welfare Centre ground semis.
New Amsterdam Zone: Saint Therese’s 36-6, Rasheed Khan 18. Kenny Amsterdam 4-8 which came off consecutive balls.
St. Aloysius in reply made 38-5, Kelon Cadogan 18. Stephan Sankar 2-9, Quincy Hubbard 2-13.
At Kuru Kuru College Ground
Upper East Bank Demerara Boys final-
Kuru Kuru defeated St. Mary’s by 8 wickets.
St. Mary’s made 37-8.
Kuru Kuru replied with 39-2.
At Leguan Island match played at the Maryville School ground in the AL Sport & Tour Promotions Seerja construction company Champions Trophy: In the Finals, Eastern Leguan defeated Maryville in a super over match.
