– event set for next weekend at MSC

The leading junior basketball players in Linden will clash in an East versus West All-Star game on May 29 when New Ballers and World Access Inc. stage the one day event at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Court.
Kaieteur Sport was informed that the All-Star Game, which will feature players like Orin Rose, Sheldon Noel, Chris Williams and Akeem Kanhai among others, will also have the usual three-point shootout and slam dunk competitions.
The East’s team will comprise those players drawn from the eastern half of the Demerara while the West will come from the western half. Major’s Sports Centre, 20/20 Sports Bar, R&D Net Zone, Bernard’s Variety, Snooks Variety, Future Sound Company and Waaldijk Scrap Iron are among the major sponsors of the event.
