Around 19:45hrs last evening, five masked gunmen stormed into and robbed the Kamboat Restaurant on Sheriff Street making off with an undisclosed sum of money.
According to reports the men first struck at the take-away section of the restaurant where they stuck up the cashier.
The men then reportedly made their way into the dining section of the restaurant where about 20 patrons were eating and ordered them to lie on the floor.
The patrons along with the cashier there were also robbed.
