They were two vibrant young men, accompanied by their Marketing Manager, walking into the Editorial Department and requesting an interview.
Tyrone and Tamel Williams want Guyana to know that El Dorado Communications Inc. has the best to offer clients where GSM tracking is concerned.
Tyrone who is the Technical Director of the company explained that the company which began in 2006, started with a capital of US$500 as a small internet café, and has now been incorporated.
Manned by a small staff of nine, the company does GPS tracking and monitoring, and CCTV installations. It has received a very good response for these and other services.
Serving as Administration Manager, Tamel says the little company is in need of more staff.
“Finding the human resources with the quality we need is very difficult in Guyana right now…quality and qualifications…both matters” he observed.
Normal recruitment is by newspaper advertisement, or word of mouth recommendations from other staff members or friends of the business.
However, an option that would definitely be looked at in the future is seeking recruitment from the Central Recruitment Manpower Agency of the Ministry of Labour.
Located on Mandela Avenue in the Jelante building, the company caters for clients in any part of the globe.
They have been getting some customers from out of Guyana, and Tyrone says that “we are campaigning for customers in the Caribbean region where we will be setting up offices outside of Guyana.”
Explaining their reason for seeking publicity, Tyrone explained, “Not once before we became incorporated, did we advertise.
Because of the quality of services that we were providing to the public, there was no need.
“In the arena that we do business we are very well known. The purpose of coming to the media is to go into uncharted waters in the area where we are unknown. We are very well known …, because of the fact that we have expanded, we see a faster expansion, a faster growth by using the media.”
Explaining that there are no companies advertising GPS tracking systems, Tyrone pointed out that when El Dorado did their first expose, “then all these entities began advertising …but you know, what El Dorado sells in terms of our GPS tracking and monitoring capabilities, it cannot be found elsewhere.”
“We push the technology to the very limit. We sell a service.
If I want to offer you something, I am going to offer you from what I have created. Because of that I can provide you with a customised solution…and still at a minimal cost to the customer” he declared. A one of a kind service. .
Celeste Frank, of Marketing, says the product and services offered by the company are second to none.
“The efficiency of the technicians in installing the delicate equipment and the feed back we get from customers is amazing.
There is no customer who can say that they are unsatisfied.
The service is the best in Guyana and will remain the best…because these technicians are innovative, always thinking of ways to better the service and the product. In the next 10 years El Dorado Communications will conquer Guyana when it comes to GPS tracking” promises Celeste.
With firm plans to stay on top, the small team feels that the world is their oyster.
GPS tracking is used to prevent car theft and monitor vehicle locations as well as speed.
