Government pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh has denied that he was present during the second autopsy on 14-year-old Sangeeta Persaud, as was suggested in a letter by Swami Aksharananda.
The second autopsy was conducted by Trinidad-based pathologist Valery Alexandrov, after the first autopsy by Dr. Singh was inconclusive.
In a recent letter to the press, Swami Aksharananda had suggested that Dr. Singh was present at this autopsy and had raised questions at his alleged presence.
Kaieteur News contacted Dr. Singh and confirmed that Swami Aksharananda’s account is inaccurate.
Sangeeta Persaud died hours after an ‘exorcism’ was performed on her.
