This year’s Seerja Construction Company / Al Sport & Tour Promotions Primary Schools Windball Cricket Competition continued recently with matches, at the Wales Community Centre ground.
In results of matches played:
Girls-
Patentia defeated Goed Fortuin by 8 wickets.
Goed Fortuin took first strike and made 39-2 when the overs expired.
Patentia in reply, ended on 40-2. Tamera Sommerset 20, Maranda Douglas 14.
Wales then beat McGillvary by 7 wickets.
Mc Gillivary 34-3, Miriam Jordan 10. Nearmanti Rajroop 2-7. Wales in their turn at the crease reached 38-3. Iyodelle Stanley hit a top-score of 10.
La Retraite defeated Two Brothers.
Boys-
Wales eased to a 7-wicket win over Patentia.
Patentia 49-3, Akiem Clark 24. Joel Sukhu 2-16.
Wales 52-3, Mark John 18. Narindra Ramcharan 2-9.
Goed Fortuin beat Two Brothers by 6 runs.
Goed Fortuin 47-0, Aston Hodge 32, Ronaldo Webster 11.
Two Brothers were then restricted to 41-6. Ronaldo Griffith 2-5, Reuel Herry 2-9, Chrstopher Jaimangal 2-21.
McGillvary registered a comfortable 9 wickets triumph over La Retraite.
La Retraite 45-3, Linden Morgan 18. Tesram Dilchand 3-20.
Mc Gillivary 46-1, Komal Singh 26, Tesram Dilchand 12.
