Ramesh Sunich (right) of the Trophy Stall at Bourda Market presents the sponsorship cheque and trophies to GLTA President Christopher Ram.
Play in the Trophy Stall Open Doubles Tennis Tournament will start today, April 23 and finish on May 2.
The venues are Pegasus Hotel courts and Le Ressouvenir Club Court, play will mostly take place on weekends but some matches will be played during the week.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Pegasus Tennis Courts at 5:00pm today.
The categories being contested in this tournament are girls and boys 18 and under doubles, open doubles, mixed doubles, ladies doubles, 35 & over doubles, 45 & over doubles and 55 & over doubles.
Proprietor of the Trophy Stall, Ramesh Sunich, recently handed over the sponsorship to Tennis Association President Christopher Ram.
