Upon seeing a body lying on the roadway, two curious friends ran over to see what was happening, only to realise that one of them was related to the man who was lying on the ground with his throat slit.
Ramdass Ramnarine called ‘Rambo’, 25, of lot Five, Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo, reportedly was having a few drinks when an altercation ensued with a man.
However, the persons who rushed him to the hospital could not identify his attacker.
“He and a man from right in the area had a wrong talking…I don’t know over wha…he de drinking, so me ain’t exactly know is wha,” one of the men told this newspaper.
The injured man has four daughters and up to press time was being treated by doctors of the Georgetown Public Hospital.
