Carib Beer supports Anjue & Hamlet Race Meeting

Carib Beer added its name to the list of major sponsors of tomorrow’s Anjue & Hamlet Park grand one-day Horse Race Meet which will be held at Mahaicony.
Importers of Carib Beer, Ansa McAl presented a sizeable cheque to the club recently to President of the club Amernauth Kiritpal during a simple ceremony held at the entity’s Head Office at BV, East Coast of Demerara.
In attendance was Public Relations Officer Dharsanie Yussuf, who presented the cheque to Kiritpal on behalf of the Company.
Yussuf said that it will be a day filled with eight exciting races with approximately 60 horses in the competition.
He noted that the feature event will be the E and Lower classes race and prizes amount to some $3M.
During the three-year old race course history, events at the park have been attracting huge crowds and Kiritpal said with the hype being created around the upcoming race, this event is expected to be even bigger.
Racing starts at 13:00 hrs and this event is being supported by the Guyana Horse Racing Authority.
