A fine half century by former Essequibo U-19 player Anthony Osborne guided Noitgedacht to a 6 wicket victory over Good Success as play in the Igloo Ice Cream 40 over cricket competition continued last Sunday at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground.
Good Success batted first and scored 132 all out in 27 overs. Abdool Salim led with 30 while Chandreka Ragnauth made 16 as national U-15 pacer Hassan Mohamed grabbed 4-39 off 7 overs while Dellon Retemiah took 2-27 and Deonarine Persaud 2-11 for the winners.
Noitgedacht in reply made 133-4 in 34 overs. Osborne top scored with 54 and Victor Wong contributed 23. Imran Khan took 2-22 for Good Success. The competition continues on Sunday with Sans Souci Jaguars playing Noitgedacht in the final preliminary round game.
