GTM sets to commission new office

Tomorrow, at 17:00 hrs, the Guyana and Trinidad Mutual Group of Insurance Companies will be hosting a Dedication ceremony of its Branch Office at 24 Plantain Walk, Vreed-en-Hoop, West Bank Demerara .
The GTM Group opened it doors on West Coast Demerara on December 19, 1994 at 26 Plantain Walk, Vreed-en-Hoop.
After eight years, the Company purchased its own building and set up office on October 29, 2002 at the present location.
In 2005 the GTM Group adapted a vision “to be the premier customer oriented insurance services provider in Guyana and the Caribbean.”
In keeping with this vision, there has been an ongoing effort to improve customer service by enhancing the facilities of all our offices, making them more comfortable and easily accessible to all our customers.
Construction of the new building at Vreed-en-Hoop began in November 2009 at a cost of some $52 million.
Tomorrow’s ceremony will be chaired by Mr. Harold B. Davis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The GTM Group of Insurance Companies.
The guest speaker will be. Dr. Ashni Singh, Minister of Finance.
