Dear Editor,
Two fortunate Guyanese nationals will soon have their dreams become a reality, when they zoom off to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer in South Africa.
I say to those selected persons well in advance, suck in the experience you will have from the other end of the globe with such high end excitement.
I was expecting “Banks DIH” to be the corporate company to have embarked on such a promotion give away because of its marketing affiliation with FIFA, but surprisingly, it was the red and white company (Digicel) which came to the rescue of soccer fans.
I am pumped up with this promotion and just in case the winners are unable to attend the matches, I am available as a substitute and we could split the spending money.
Banks DIH, you have lost your mojo, but you can get it back with careful marketing planning, promotion from now, to the lead up for the 2012 London Olympic Games which you are also an affiliated marketing source for the Olympics.
Surprise your die hard Coca Cola customers like.
T. Pemberton
