National female off-spinner Devanie Sewnarine will Captain the Demerara team in the GCB 50-over Inter-County cricket tournament which commences on April 11at the Police ground in the City.
Sewnarine will have her fellow Police and Guyana team mate Abena Parker as her deputy while the Management team is headed by Ms. Richmond and Robert Adonis with Orin Bailey as the Coach.
Demerara face Essequibo in the opening match before Berbice clash with Essequibo in the second round at the Wales Community Centre ground in West Bank Demerara on April 12.
The final round of the round-robin tournament is fixed for April 14 at Enmore when Demerara face-off with Berbice in what could the deciding match in the tournament.
