Cyclists will continue to enjoy healthy competition when the National Sports Commission (NSC) brings off another 11-race meet on Saturday at the Inner Circuit of the National Park, organised by National Coach, Hassan Mohamed.
This meet will be used by the senior, junior and veteran riders as preparation for Sunday’s 50-miler on the Essequibo Coast in memory of the Late President Dr. Cheddi Jagan, the third and final race in a 3-part series, this month.
Following is the list of races on Saturday’s programme:
12 – 14yrs Open (3 Laps)
Veteran U-50yrs (5 Laps)
Veteran O-50yrs (5 Laps)
Juveniles (10 Laps)
Upright Cyclists (5 Laps)
BMX Boys Open (3 Laps)
BMX 12 – 14yrs Boys (3 Laps)
BMX 9 – 12yrs Boys (3 Laps)
BMX 6 – 9 yrs Boys (2 Laps)
BMX 6 – 12yrs Girls (1 Lap)
The feature event is the School Boys & Invitation over a distance of 35 Laps.
