Warren ‘Forty’ Mc Kay was just unstoppable when the 19th edition of the R&R International sponsored 11-race cycle meet took place at Guyana’s number-one cycling venue, the National Park on Saturday last.
Mc Kay won the feature 35-lap School Boys and Invitational showdown in one hour 24 minutes 17 seconds crossing the line ahead of Robin Persaud, Marlon ‘Fishy’ Williams, Enzo Matthews, Alonzo Greaves and Ryan Austin in that order.
Mc Kay’s dominance of the event was underlined with him taking 7 of the 8 prime prizes on offer, Persaud taking the other.
Berbician Neil Reece continues to dominate the juvenile/junior category with the absence of Christopher Holder when he took the 10-lap race. Paul De Nobrega again had to settle for the 2nd place with Andre Petty 3rd.
