The entire Executive Committee of the BK International Western Tigers Football Club with the exception of the Vice President was returned en bloc when that entity held its Bi Annual General Meeting on Sunday at the BK International Inc. Canteen, Mandela Avenue.
Returned was President – Gordon Gilhuys, Secretary – Dexter Cush, Treasurer – Andre Dazzell, Assistant Secretary Treasurer – Dale Ann Mc Donald and Public Relations Officer – Brentnol Bourne. The Vice president position which was vacant was filled by Adipemo Peters who was elected unopposed.
The new executive has promised to do their utmost in conjunction with main sponsor BK International to further uplift the club and to ensure the development of the players on and off the field of play. BK’s representative on the Executive is Egan Bazilio.
Gilhuys in brief remarks following the elections thanked the membership for showing confidence in them by having them serve for another two years.
He urged the members to set aside differences and start afresh. “Lets us get on with the work of the developing the game of football. All are welcome to be a part of the club as long as you follow the rules.”
Sherman David was appointed as the Club Captain with Derrick Carter serving as his deputy. Carter was also elected as the Players Representative. Western Tigers are the reigning Kashif and Shanghai champions.
