Relatives are trying to locate 14-year-old Celena Lourindo, who has been missing for a week from the family’s Lot 1055 Diamond Block Y Housing Scheme home.
According to her stepmom, Shirley Lackraj, Celena was last seen last week Sunday.
The young girl attends Diamond Secondary School and has been in her stepmother’s care since she was three years old.
The matter has been reported at the Golden Grove Police Station.
She said that Celena has run away before; but has never been missing for such a long time.
Celena Lourindo is of Amerindian ancestry, fair in complexion and is short.
The schoolgirl was last seen wearing a red top, a pair of black pants and brown shoes.
She was also carrying a blue haversack.
Ms. Lackraj is appealing to anyone with information to contact her at 601-1685/ 216-2133, or the nearest police station.
