Mar 16, 2010 Letters
Dear Editor,
I myself couldn’t help but to be tickled when I read Minister K. Lall’s response (Kaieteur News, 12/03/2010) to a letter written by Mr. Christopher Ram in which Minister Lall stated, “a little comic relief from him (Mr. Ram) does no harm.”
In his letter, Minister Lall was educating us on the law, Mr. Ram’s “ignorance” and his prowess to invoke comedy. What tickled me though was the fact that the good minister found the necessary time in what I’m assuming would be a very busy schedule, after all he is a minister of government, to respond to Mr. Ram’s letter.
However, he could not find that same time to educate/explain his actions in two separately documented issues by the print and television media to the electorate that voted himself and his party into power in 2006. Now that was comedy! But unfortunately, some harm was done then.
