A woman do wha nuff man can’t do and dem boys seh that she do wha she do because she want run away from some man.
She get in a paddle boat and paddle all de way from Africa to Guyana. Now why anybody would want to paddle across an ocean when she can ketch a plane or go on a cruise ship?
Anyhow, de woman mek it and she mek all dem woman proud. Nuff man proud too because she do wha dem can’t do and she is only 22.
If Bharrat been here he would run down to the shore to greet de woman but he in de islands. Dem boys waiting to see if Sam gun do de greeting.
If he fail then Kwame, de rising star, gun have to do that. De conversation would go something like this. “Girl, you do us proud.
Imagine you alone pon de water top night after night while some of us deh on land wid some fresh young boys to warm us up”
Of course de woman would smile because she know just wha Kwame talking bout. She will ask him how he doing and he gun tell she that he doing steady, from de time he was at de radio station to now.
Then de government gun put out a press release praising the virtues of women and actually blame de woman for not landing on International Women’s Day.
But dem boys want to know if she get a visa. Clement serious about dem things and he might arrest de woman and order that dem deport she. That gun be de day.
