A Vigilance, East Coast Demerara man who is a suspect in the Cool Square nightspot murder has been identified as one of the gunmen who shot and robbed Troy Collins in Orange Walk, Bourda, a fortnight ago.
Police said that the suspect was picked out during an identification parade yesterday. He is likely to appear in court next Monday.
Police have already charged Aman Lallchand with robbery under arms in connection with the attack on Collins, who was shot in the groin and relieved of an estimated $1.4M in gold and diamond jewellery.
However, Lallchand was not charged with shooting Collins.
Kaieteur News understands that police are yet to put the detained Vigilance resident on an identification parade in connection with the Cool Square attack in which Canada-based Guyanese, Rawle Harding, was slain.
Junior Bourne, a 19-year-old seaman from East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, was charged earlier this week with Harding’s murder.
The entire drama was recorded by surveillance cameras at the popular West Ruimveldt nightspot.
