Trophy Stall beat Regal by 2 runs, advance to Super 16

Trophy Stall XI continued their dominance in the inaugural GT&T 10/10 Softball Nationwide Cricket Competition by beating rivals Regal XI by two runs in a thrilling contest recently, at the Everest ground on Carifesta Avenue.
Trophy Stall XI batted first and scored a challenging 92-5 at the conclusion of the ten overs, while Regal XI, in reply, were left agonizingly short when the overs expired.
Regal XI, one the favourite teams in the competition, was placed comfortably at 80-4 in the 8th over, but a number of careless shots were responsible for their elimination.
Trophy Stall XI will be looking to continue their winning ways and they have included some senior Inter-County players in their line-up as they seek to advance further in the tournament.
