Dem boys seh….Mouth open but de story ain’t jump out

When people see a reporter name in de papers dem does believe that is a big one; that reporters are next to God in order of importance.

Is by accident that dem boys know that reporters ain’t nutten to shout about; that dem is nuff bluff and that nine times out of ten dem ain’t know nutten. Dem had an accident at Success. Somebody call in to de Waterfalls paper to give de story and to request that a reporter go to de scene.

It don’t tek long fuh a reporter to travel from de Waterfalls paper to Success but this time nearly one hour past but this reporter ain’t reach de scene. When dem boys call dem find out that de reporter was heading to Timehri. This is a reporter who didn’t know wheh Success was. And people does think that reporters know everything.

One thing though is that dem does know people business. Imagine dem know that a girl going up to a Miss World contest pregnant and she didn’t tell nobody. Last week dem couldn’t tell de difference between organism and orgasm but dem know bout pregnancy.

Dem boys seh that dem also find out that de regional executive officer who de police want  deh wid friends because was a long weekend and dem didn’t want he in no lock ups fuh suh long. This man was a big PPP supporter but now that de party charging him, he tek lawyers that belong to de AFC. In fact, he tek three lawyers and one of dem was a former Attorney General. De man tek Ramjattan too.

Now he got to pay dem and if he ain’t tek de money as de people seh, he got to find money. If he tek de money then dem same lawyers gun charge he a lot. Suh is nuff paying.

But dem boys seh that de man who should get arrest is a big one who always stretching out he hand for payment. Once a contract award he got to get a payback. One contractor build a house fuh he fuh free.

Dem seh that de Minister hear things but he ain’t saying nutten. De people don’t want to implicate nobody because lawyer fees high. But dem hope that de same REO gun now open he mouth.
