There will be no room for lapses when the inaugural Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company sponsored Nationwide 1010 knock-out softball cricket competition continues around the country.
A number of spirited performances have been recorded to date and many more are expected as teams battle to qualify for the group-of-16-stage before challenging for the one million dollars first prize.
Following are the fixtures for today and tomorrow:
Zone A, round 4 at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground
Sunday 21
Uitvlugt A vs Ruimzeight Sports Club; Wolf Warriors vs Den Amstel; Western Tigers vs Gaza XI; Muslim Youth All Stars United drew the bye.
Round 5
The respective winners will also face off tomorrow
Zone B, round 3 at the Wales Community Centre ground
Feb 20
Goed Intent Policing Group vs West Side All Stars; All Star vs Demerara Speed Boat Club; NIX XI vs Saw Pit; Game 11 vs K’s Comprehensive School; Stanleytown All Star vs Wales Community Development Centre.
Rounds 4 and 5 involving the respective winners will also be played today.
Zone D, round 2 at the Providence ground
