No room for lapses as tournament bowls on this weekend

There will be no room for lapses when the inaugural Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company sponsored Nationwide 1010 knock-out softball cricket competition continues around the country.
A number of spirited performances have been recorded to date and many more are expected as teams battle to qualify for the group-of-16-stage before challenging for the one million dollars first prize.
Following are the fixtures for today and tomorrow:
Zone A, round 4 at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground
Sunday 21
Uitvlugt A vs Ruimzeight Sports Club; Wolf Warriors vs Den Amstel; Western Tigers vs Gaza XI; Muslim Youth All Stars United drew the bye.
Round 5
The respective winners will also face off tomorrow
Zone B, round 3 at the Wales Community Centre ground
Feb 20
Goed Intent Policing Group vs West Side All Stars; All Star vs Demerara Speed Boat Club; NIX XI vs Saw Pit; Game 11 vs K’s Comprehensive School; Stanleytown All Star vs Wales Community Development Centre.
Rounds 4 and 5 involving the respective winners will also be played today.
Zone D, round 2 at the Providence ground

Highway Royals vs Providence Street Boys; Youths in Development vs The Almighty XI; Rising Stars vs D Generation DX; Diamond All Stars vs Pine Star XI; Blue Ice vs Herstelling Raiders; Sand Drifter vs Superior Woods; Rising Star XI vs Oceans XI; Grove Hikers vs Rising Star.
Diamond ground, Feb 20
Eccles Sports Club vs East Bank Renegades; Rising up from the Dust vs Combined United; Dry Doc vs Hill Foot Strikers; Timehri Upsetters vs Alliance road Cricket team; Navin XI vs Timehri Scramblers; Airport XI vs Diamond Daredevils; Limacol Boyz (New GPC Inc) vs Grove Backstreet XI; Wild Tigers vs Non Strikers; Clear Water vs Super Kings; Combine United Sports Club vs Land of Canaan Dare Devils.

Round 4 matches will be contested at the Everest ground tomorrow. Already advancing are Fish out of Water who will play Elegance All Star. The respective winners from today’s encounters will collide tomorrow.
