The F&H Printing Establishment sponsored Muslim Youth Organization of Guyana 10 overs Inter-Jamaat softball round-robin round-hand cricket competition will conclude on Tuesday Mash day at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue.
The semi-final line-up features Farm A coming up against Providence from 09:00hrs while from 10:30hrs, Farm C takes on Triumph.
The respective winners will meet in the final beginning at 14:00hrs with the third place game between the respective losers bowling off at 12:30hrs.
In results of the quarter-final matches contested last weekend, Farm C defeated Success.
Farm C batted first and made 142-2 in their allotted 10 overs. Ameer Azeez made 54 and was supported by Yunus Mohammed with 49*.
In reply, Success were bowled out for 110 with extras top scoring with 25. Bowling for Farm C, Yunus Mohammed and Budhan Baksh picked up 2 wickets each.
Providence got the better of Plaisance. Batting first, Providence reached 167-7 in their allotted 10 overs. Taslim Nasoordin led with 51 and Roy Mohammed 40. Plaisance in reply were restricted to 129-7 when their overs ran out. Bobby Khan topped with 45, Neil Ramroop picking up 2 wickets.
Farm A got a walk over from Cornelia Ida who failed to turn up while Triumph got the better of MYO in their encounter.
