The Junior Selection Committee of the Berbice Cricket Board under the chairmanship of Leslie Solomon has announced the names of a 22 member squad for possible selection to the Berbice Under-19 female team for the upcoming inter-county tournament.
Solomon along with fellow selectors Randolph Latcha and Moses Samlall witnessed the matches during the recent national 40 overs tournament and the ongoing national inter-secondary school cup to shortlist the squad which includes West Indies player, Shemaine Campbell.
The full list of selectees are: Shemaine Campbell, Katana Mentore, Melissa Durant, Nirmala Sewdatt, Alicia Francis, Sherry Ann Fraser, Steffi Rodney, Celine Daniels, Taniesah Cort, Sherika Campbell, Sarieta Kumar, Plafiana Millington, Shemone Crandon, Diana Prashad, Indira Ramkellowan, Aliesha Isahack, Nagama Boodhoo, Naressa Skeete, Marisa Fraser, Angela de Jonge, Sue-Ann Lindie and Anastacia Long.
All the players are asked to report to the area ‘H’ ground on Monday from 15:00hrs to commence practice.
