The Anjue and Hamlet racetrack situated at Mahaicony Branch Road East Coast Demerara will today, Valentine’s Day, come alive when the Kids First Fund and IMRARC of Cane Grove, East Coast Demerara holds a fund-raising Gymkhana.
The activity is being held in order to raise funds for the Kids First Funds organisation which funds emergency medical treatment free of cost for poor and needy children in Guyana.
A number of activities will be staged during the day which will be highlighted by a number of horserace and Grass track riding events.
A number of other novelty activities will be held which will also include family activities such as rides, face painting, children’s races, lucky pick and the clown. The activities start at 1 pm.
All proceeds will go to Kids First Fund and the IMRARC organisations. A number of other fund raising activities have been planned during the year.
