…claims he only wants to visit his son
Randolph Davis who was accused by the mother of his child, 21-year-old Lisa Latoya, of threatening and brutalising her has refuted the allegations.
According to Davis, the mother of his child is very jealous and on many occasions would become argumentative whenever he receives a phone call from his friends.
He said that it was worse if he conversed with any other female, be she a relative or a friend.
“Whenever I talk to her about it she get up and she leave and run to her mother’s house.” he said.
He said that all that Latoya has done is to make allegations to keep him away from his son.
Davis explained that he has known Lisa Latoya for several years and that she lived with him for a period. He said that she left his home on January 4, 2010, because he had questioned her about some missing money he had in his room.
He said that he did not accuse her of taking it but wanted her to secure his valuables so no one that comes into the house can trouble any.
He said the problems started when he began to visit his two-year-old son at Latoya mother’s residence, and Lisa’s stepfather became abusive.
He said that he became annoyed.
The stepfather, he said, controls Latoya’s actions and movement at the house and tells her not to go outside the house whenever he visits his son, and she should only send the child out alone.
“When I go to see my son in the house they pretend that I don’t exist.”
He added that Latoya’s stepfather had made a report to the Prashad Nagar Station and had told him at one time that if he wants to visit his child he should go to the station and the visit would take place there.
The other suggestion was that he sends a car to pick the child up, but that he should desist from coming at the house.
Davis said Latoya on many occasions would disappear with his son without contacting him, and whenever his spends time with him he would call her and give his son the phone to listen to his mothers’ voice.
He noted that Latoya works nowhere and his mother along with himself take care of his son. On these grounds alone, he said he should be able to visit his son weekly.
“I don’t business what she do with her life; she could do what she like, all I want is my son.” Davis said.
