The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) is scheduled to hold its Annual Executive Committee meeting and XXX111Ordinary Congress at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad from February 25 – 28, 2010.
CFU President Jack Warner will report to delegates on his visit to ravaged Haiti as a result of the 7.1 earthquake which struck the country.
Additionally President Warner is expected to reveal the pledges made to the Haiti Football Federation and obtain Congress’ support in this matter.
Hon. Gary Hunt, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs has been invited to declare the XXX111 Ordinary Congress open on Saturday 27th February at 9.00a.m.
Among the specially invited guests are Chuck Blazer, General Secretary CONCACAF, Rafael Tinoco, President, UNCAF, Mario Monterosa, General Secretary, UNCAF and Enrique Sanz of Traffic Sports.
