Pele and Riddim Squad marched into the semi-finals of the Mayor Hamilton Green 75th birthday 7-a-side inter-club knockout football tournament on Friday at the Tucville ground.
The remaining semi-final sports will be decided tonight at the same venue when quarter-final action will feature K&S Champions Western Tigers baring their claws against Crane from 22:00hrs and Alpha United will hope to nullify GDF’s artillery half-an hour later after supporting games.
Crane will depend on the services of Kester Alberts, Collis Walters, Paul Hector and Sherwin Lanferman. The Tigers will centre their attack on Sherman David, Dwayne Ali, Michael Henry and Colin Nelson.
Top gun Alpha’s star studded line up includes Shawn Bishop, Dwain Jacobs, Abassi McPherson and Dwight Peters. GDF on the other hand will place their artillery in the hands of Stellon David, Royan Morrison and Sheik Kamal. Two keenly contested games are anticipated.
