Last Friday night at the GCC ground, Bourda, Patrick Khan blasted his first century for Floodlights but failed to ensure victory for his team against Guyana Energy Agency.
His 106 was laced with 9 sixes and 8 fours as Floodlight reach 267 after chasing a huge total of 327 off 25 overs set by GEA.
Prahalad Singh and Asif Mohammed took 4 wickets each off their allotted 5 overs to restrict Floodlights.
Earlier GEA raced to 327 for 7 with Narinedeo Sugrim hitting 12 sixes and 2 fours in this 114 not out.
He was well supported with Prahalad Singh who made 70. Rohan Boojraj was Floodlight’s notable bowler with 3 wickets for 45 runs off 5 overs.

The Floodlights team made a donation of $500,000 to the Relief Fund for Haiti to Ministers Priya Manickchand and Robeson Benn during the course of this match. Acting president of Guyana Mr. Clement Rohee was also present to view the game and make a presentation.
