Several action packed encounters envisaged in Carib Beer Softball Cricket

Cricket buffs can expect several exciting matches when the National Softball Cricket Tournament continues today and tomorrow at venues countrywide. The tournament is
sponsored by Ansa McAl under the Carib Beer label and is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, in collaboration with the Guyana Softball League.
Starting at 13:00hrs today Leonora Youths “B” take on Ruimzeight XI while at 14:00hrs Rangers Youths square off with Zeeburg Youths.
Matches continue tomorrow on the West Coast Demerara when Leonora Youths XI tackle Surprise Warriors XI at the Leonora Primary School Ground starting at 10:00hrs. Lenora Youths return at 13:00hrs for another match, this time against Hyde Park XI. At 14:00hrs Surprise Warriors clash with Uitvlugt CC Youths.
The action moves to Parika/Hydronie Sports Club Ground at 13:30hrs when Shattaville XI play Parika/Hydronie SC followed by Bonasika XI against Parika/ Hydronie SC at 14:30hrs.
Over on the East Bank, Zone F, matches commence at 10:00hrs with Kings XI up against Renegade XI while at 12:00hrs Zahir XI play Kings XI.
In Zone C matches scheduled for Ogle ECD, Vipers XI tackle Hitters XI starting at 10:00hrs while at 12:00hrs Hitters XI return for a match against Annandale West XI. Young Eagles and Annandale West XI then oppose each other starting at 14:00hrs.
Meanwhile, there would also be action on Pitch # 2 starting at 10:00hrs when Gopaul Mandir XI plays Ogle U19. At 12:00hrs, Gopaul Mandir XI returns for a match against Young Eagles XI followed by a match at 14:00hrs between Uprising and Annandale West XI.
In action scheduled for Pitch # 3 starting at 10:00hrs Harry XI tackle John Cena XI while at 12:00hrs Harry XI play Hot Steppers XI. The latter team returns at 14:00hrs for a match against Desperado. Over in Essequibo, at the Unity Ground, starting at 09:00hrs, Randy XI play Supply XI.
At 12:00hrs, Unity XI play A N & S Auto Spares XI while at the Helena # 2 Ground, starting at 9:00hrs, Bomb Squad XI oppose Young Challengers XI. This match precedes one between Pensa XI and Helena Mandir SC XI.
At the De Hoop Ground starting at 9:00hrs, Water World XI play Auto Fashion XI while from 12:00hrs Little Bay Blue XI battle AN & S Auto Spares XI. Over at the Cane Grove Ground Farmers XI oppose New Generation XI also starting at 12:00hrs while in Zone D at the Christianburg Ground, Linden. Uprising XI and Royal Champions XI clash starting at 09:00hrs.
Patrons are urged to come out in support of their respective teams.
